HARRISBURG – Rep. Joe Kerwin (R-Dauphin) has been assigned to serve on three standing House committees during the 2023-24 Legislative Session: Agriculture & Rural Affairs, Game & Fisheries, and Veterans Affairs & Emergency Preparedness. The committees provide legislative oversight and help shape the language in bills that fall under their areas of responsibility.

“I’m grateful I can play an important role in reviewing proposals that affect our farmers, outdoors enthusiasts and veterans. The bills coming out of these committees have a direct impact on Pennsylvanians’ day-to-day lives,” Kerwin said.

In addition to the committees within the House, Kerwin continues to serve on the board overseeing the Keystone State ChalleNGe Academy, a 22-week, tuition-free program for teenagers struggling in their school studies.
